What is trenchless technology and why Nodig?

Trenchless technology (no-dig) is a set of methods for rehabilitating, cleaning and renewing underground pipes without excavating the surface. Instead of costly and disruptive digging, machines enter through existing manhole access points and work from the inside.

Nodig d.o.o. is a Croatian manufacturer that developed its machine line from first-hand field experience. Founded in 2012, the machines reflect seven years of drain rehabilitation work – designed to be as simple and effective as possible. The philosophy is Genius of Simplicity: maximum effectiveness with minimum complexity.

Nodig offers two solution types: high-speed mechanical chain cleaning (V8, V1, mini6) and epoxy coating for restoring pipe walls without excavation (ProLight, ProLight2). The combination of cleaning and coating covers the full rehabilitation workflow from preparation to the final layer.

Frequently Asked Questions about Nodig Solutions

What is trenchless technology?

Trenchless technology is a set of methods for rehabilitating, cleaning and renewing underground pipes without excavating the ground. Nodig uses two methods: high-speed mechanical chain cleaning and epoxy coating (brush or spray) to restore the pipe interior – both without digging.

What is the difference between pipe coating and pipe cleaning?

High-speed cleaning (V8, V1, mini6) mechanically removes deposits and blockages and prepares the surface. Pipe coating (ProLight, ProLight2) applies an epoxy layer to the cleaned inner wall – restoring it, stopping corrosion and extending service life. Cleaning almost always precedes coating.

What Nodig machines are available?

Nodig offers five machines: V8 (heavy-duty cleaner for larger diameters), V1 (versatile all-round cleaner), mini6 (compact cleaner for confined access), ProLight (single-cartridge epoxy coating) and ProLight2 (Double Press – two cartridges, up to 150 mm diameter).

Where is Nodig manufactured and is support available?

All Nodig machines are designed and manufactured in Osijek, Croatia. Nodig provides comprehensive technical support, Training Center education and a European partner network. Contact: orders@nodig.hr, +385 91 882 9860.

What are the prerequisites for epoxy pipe coating?

The pipe must be structurally sound, mechanically cleaned and dry, with temperature/humidity meeting curing requirements. Ventilation is mandatory. Nodig recommends high-speed cleaning as the preparation step before coating.
